Could you be our next Contract Pricing Analyst?

The Opportunity

You will maintain and modify existing customer contracts to ensure minimal Vallen cost absorption for supplier/vendor price increases. You will collaborate with marketing, sales, procurement and product strategy leaders to develop, propose, finalize and execute customer price adjustments for Vallen key accounts in compliance with contractual terms.

Qualifications & Benefits

  • Bachelor s degree; or 1 + years of relevant experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience that gives the individual the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job.

Relevant experience should include:

  • Previous work experience (e. g., purchasing, customer service, contract administration or other similar role) in the distribution industry preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge in using MS-Excel and relational databases with a technical aptitude to learn Vallen s internal applications.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and mathematical aptitude required.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and with little supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written, communication skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization and customers.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
